ZF310 Series V/F Control Low Voltage Variable Frequency Drive

V/F controlled low-voltage frequency converter is a type of frequency converter that achieves motor speed regulation by adjusting the ratio of output voltage (V) to frequency (F).

Working principle

Constant voltage frequency ratio control: The core of V/F control is to maintain a constant ratio of voltage to frequency, that is, V/F=constant. When the frequency decreases, the voltage also decreases proportionally to maintain a constant magnetic flux in the motor and avoid magnetic saturation or weak magnetic phenomena.
Applicable load: Suitable for situations such as fans, water pumps, conveyor belts, etc. that do not require high speed accuracy, and the load torque is proportional to the square of the speed.

Main features

  • Simple structure, low cost: no need for speed sensors or complex control algorithms, hardware and software implementation is relatively easy.
  • Limited speed range: Typically, the speed range is around 1:10, suitable for medium and low-speed applications.
  • General dynamic performance: slow response to load changes and acceleration/deceleration processes, limited overload capacity.
  • Open loop control: No feedback signal is required, and system stability is greatly affected by motor parameters and environment.
